This tank top blouse features clean lines and a sophisticated design, perfect for seamstresses of all levels.
On the front, the tank top has a round neckline, and on the back a V-neckline.
Finally, Danube is available in two versions: one with pleats on the sides, the other without.

To get you started, the Danube blouse pattern is available at pdf OR in paper format.Sewing margins are included (1 cm (⅜”)).
Then, if you opt for the pdf format, after your purchase you will be able to download :
- a pdf file with 16 A4 (or US letter) pages to assemble,
- 1-page pdf file (A0) if you want to print it at a copy shop,
- printing & assembly tips (in English and in French),
- and an instruction guide for sewing the blouse.
Finally, if you choose the paper format you will receive a printed folder with :
- A detailed instruction booklet,
- and also, the pattern board (no overlapping pieces) in actual size.
Materials required for the Danube blouse
To make this blouse, you'll need:
- Fabric (55'' wide):
- Sizes 34-38: 1.60 m (1¾y) (version 1 pleated) or 1.40 m (1⅝y) (version 2 non-pleated)
- Sizes 40-46: 1.70 m (1⅞y)
- Sizes 48-52: 1.80 m (2y)
- Recommended fabrics: chambray, cotton poplin, viscose poplin, viscose twill, cotton oxford, or embroidered cotton.
- Photo fabrics: viscose poplin.
- 90 cm (36”) fusible interfacing.

Permanent folds for Danube
To avoid ironing the side folds (for version 1) after each wash, you can use a synthetic fabric like polyester. In this video, I show you how I did it with a cardboard template! This is the Faustine blouse, but the principle remains the same for the Danube blouse.
