To make this blouse or dress, you'll need:
- Fabric (55'' wide):
- for the blouse version:
- sizes 34 to 46: 1.6 m (1 ¾ y)
- sizes 48 to 56: 2.3 m (2 ⅝ y)
- for the dress version:
-
sizes 34 to 46: 1.8 m (2 y)
-
sizes 48 to 56: 2.8 m (3 ⅛ yards)
-
For this pattern, I recommend using fabric with a fluid drape such as viscose, tencel, chiffon, or even a polyester crepe.
- 45 cm (18”) of fusible interfacing.
-
OPTIONAL: 10 cm (4”) of a cotton poplin fabric or similar. This bit of fabric can be used to make the bow at the back. A fabric such as cotton poplin has the advantage of being a bit stiffer without adding bulk and the bow will keep its shape better. If you choose this option, cut only pieces G and H in this fabric.
