The Solveig dress pattern (34-56)

The instructions are in English and French.
Solveig is the little dress with a fitted bust and a flared skirt with gathers. The 3/4 length sleeves form two pretty drapes that close with a button.
A PATTERN IN PDF or PAPER FORMAT
The pattern is available in pdf OR in paper format. The seam allowances are included (1 cm (⅜”)) .
If you opt for the pdf format, after your purchase you can download :
- 32-page pdf file to assemble (A4 or US letter / print at home),
- a 2-page pdf file (A0 format),
- printing & assembly tips (in English and in French),
- an instruction guide to sew the dress (you will find many illustrations to explain the step by step, QR codes to explain videos for some technical points, or tips to sew better).
If you choose the paper format you will receive a printed folder with :
- A detailed instruction booklet (you will find many illustrations to explain the step by step, or even tips for better sewing),
- The pattern board (no overlapping pieces) in real size.
SUPPLIES
To make this dress, you will need :
- Fabric (55'' wide):
- Sizes 34-38: 2.40 m (2 ⅝ y)
- Sizes 40-46: 2.90 m (3 ¼ y)
- Sizes 48-56: 3.20 m (3 ½ y)
- For this dress, I recommend a fluid fabric such as viscose, tencel or silk.
- For winter versions, you can use flannel, wool crepe, denim or chambray.
- 40 cm (16’’) of fusible interfacing
- 24 cm (9 ½”) iron-on hem (4 cm / 1 ⅝” wide).
- 2 buttons.
- A 40 cm (16”) invisible zip.
SIZES
The Solveig dress pattern runs from size 34 to size 56.
To help you choose the right size, you’ll find below the finished garment measurements:
Dress length (waist to hem): 49 cm (19 ¼’’) for sizes 34-46, or 53 cm (20 ⅞’’) for sizes 48-56..
Stature: 1.68 m (1 ⅞ y)
