Meryl is a jumpsuit that is marked at the waist and can be made into a top and trousers. It has flounces that run from the neckline to the sleeves.

A PATTERN IN PDF or PAPER FORMAT

The pattern is available in pdf OR in paper format. The seam allowances are included (1 cm (⅜”)) .

If you opt for the pdf format, after your purchase you can download :

  • a 40-page pdf file ( A4 or US letter) to be assembled,
  • 3-page pdf file (A0 format / print at copyshop),
  • printing & assembly tips (in English and in French),
  • an instruction guide for sewing the jumpsuit (you will find many illustrations to explain the step-by-step process, and tips for better sewing).

If you choose the paper format you will receive a printed folder with :

  • A detailed instruction booklet (you will find many illustrations to explain the step by step, or even tips for better sewing),
  • The pattern board (no overlapping pieces) in real size.

SUPPLIES

To make this combination, you will need :

  • Fabric (55'' wide):
    • Sizes 34-38: 2.8 m
    • Sizes 40-46: 3 m ( 3 ⅜ y)
    • Sizes 48-52: 3.5 m

👉 Chambray, linen, cotton poplin

👉 If you only sew the trousers you can also opt for: gabardine, short velvet, flannel or even chino.

  • 25 cm of lining (for pockets)
  • 5 to 6 buttons of 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter
  • 1 button for the trousers (diameter: 1.5 cm max)
  • 80 cm iron-on interlining (for a 90 cm width)
  • 1 zip for 15 cm (sizes 34-40) or 18 cm (sizes 42-52) trousers
  • 1 elastic band 2.5 cm wide. For the length, take your waist size, divide it by 2 and take off 2 cm. Example: for a waist of 70 cm, take 33 cm of elastic (70/2 - 2 = 33).

    Manches longues

    Bonsoir cadia
J’ai un tissu en velours que je souhaiterais réaliser avec le patron Meryl je souhaite changer les manches courtes pour des manches longues est-ce faisable!?
    Merci d’avance pour la réponse

    Good evening Pascale,
I haven't studied this version, but if you want to try it, I advise you to make a canvas by extending the two parts of the sleeve from the bottom.
Velvet is a very good choice :)
    Happy sewing!
