FAQs
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
First of all, check your basket before validating it. Some patterns are in PDF format and others in paper format. If you have chosen the PDF format, you will receive the download link directly in your email box after your purchase. If you have not received an email with the download link, it may be in your junk mail or in the "Promotions" tab of some mailboxes.
Another option: you can also find the download link in your customer area. To do this, click on your order number:
If you have opted for one or more paper templates, the delivery time is on average between 2 and 7 working days in metropolitan France.
WHICH FABRIC SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR MY PATTERN?
For each of my patterns, I make a blog post where you can find my advice on choosing your fabric. To do this, you can go to the blog, and type the name of the pattern in the search bar. In the results, you will find the article about the pattern you are looking for.
I also give more general advice in this video:
I AM BETWEEN SEVERAL SIZES, HOW CAN I ADAPT THE PATTERN TO MY MORPHOLOGY?
You can use the bust line, waist line and hip line on the pattern sheets to help you decide between different sizes.
For some PDF patterns, the pattern is accompanied by a fitting guide which you can find in the download link.
Finally, you can find general tips on fitting patterns on the blog.
I AM A BEGINNER IN SEWING; WHICH PATTERN CAN I START WITH?
The level of difficulty is indicated on each pattern (at the bottom of the product sheet). It goes from 1 (the easiest) to 5 (the most difficult).
If you are a beginner, I advise you to choose a pattern with a difficulty level between 1 and 2.
WHAT YARDAGE DO I NEED FOR A 140 CM WIDE FABRIC?
The yardages offered in the shop are mostly for 150 cm wide fabrics.
If you want to use a 140 cm wide fabric, I advise you to lay the pattern pieces on the floor as if you were laying them out on a 140 cm wide fabric and measure the necessary length.
WHY DOESN'T MY PDF PATTERN PRINT AT THE RIGHT SIZE?
First of all, most PDFs are available in several formats: they can be printed on A4 sheets (or US letter), A3 sheets or A0 sheets.
You should therefore pay attention to the file format depending on the sheets you are using. The file format (A4, A3 or A0) is mentioned in the file name.
In addition, in the print layout configuration, the file must be printed in "real size". Print only the first page to measure the test square. Then check that the sides are 5 cm. If everything is OK, you can then print the other sheets.
All this information is summarised in a file which can be found on the download link.
DO I NEED A PASSWORD TO PRINT THE PDF?
There is no need for a password.
The PDF files provided are protected, which means that they cannot be modified. So if you have problems printing at the printer or on a photocopier, it is likely to be because the software used is trying to edit the file (which is not allowed with this type of file). So remember to mention this to your printer or look at the photocopier functions if you are asked for a password.
