The instructions are in English and French.
A wardrobe essential: the wrap dress! This model is embellished with ruffles on the front and back. The Fleurette dress is available in short or long versions. You can also choose between short sleeves or tulip sleeves for both versions.
Finally, there's also an extension for a long-sleeved version (download separately).
A PATTERN IN PDF or PAPER FORMAT
First of all, the pattern is available in pdf OR in paper format. Sewing margins are included (1 cm).
If you opt for the pdf format, after your purchase you can download :
- 38-page pdf file to assemble (A4 or US letter-sized paper) for sizes 34 to 46 (32 pages for version 1),
- 48-page pdf file to assemble (A4 or US letter-sized paper) for sizes 48 to 56,
- printing tips (in English and in French),
- and an instruction guide for sewing the dress.
Finally, if you choose the paper format you will receive a printed folder with :
- A detailed instruction bookletfor sewing the dress,
- and the pattern board (no overlapping pieces except the 2 versions of the front skirt) in actual size.
SUPPLIES
To make this dress, you'll need:
- Fabric (55'' wide):
- for version 1 :
- sizes 34 to 46: 2.6 m (2 ⅞ y)
- sizes 48 to 56 : 3 m (3 ⅓ y)
- for version 2:
- sizes 34 to 46: 3.10 m (3 ½ y)
- sizes 48 to 56: 3.8 m (4 ¼ y)
- You can use a fabric with a fluid drape like viscose, crepe, or even polyester. “Stiffer” fabrics such as chambray, double gauze, or cotton poplin would also work well.
- Fusible interfacing:
- sizes 34 to 46 : 50 cm (19 ¾”)
- sizes 48 to 56 : 60 cm (23 ⅝”)
SIZES OF THE FLEURETTE DRESS
The Fleurette pattern is available in sizes 34 to 56.
Also, to help you choose your size, you will find below the dimensions of the finished garment:
Lastly, skirt length depends on size.
First, for sizes 34-46: the maximum skirt length is 64 cm for the short version and 104 cm for the long version.
Then for sizes 48-56: the maximum skirt length is 64 cm for the short version and 106 cm for the long version.
