I have always dreamed of making clothes that look like me. 5 years ago, this sweet dream seemed far away. Sewing is indeed an activity that can be scary when you have never done it... How to use a sewing machine? How to sew a garment in my size? Will I be good enough to do it? Do I have to take lessons ?
These were the questions I asked myself when I first started out, and I quickly realized that you could quickly create beautiful objects with very little sewing knowledge. As I often like to say: there's more fear than harm!
When reading this book, I strongly recommend that you start with the 10 lessons that will give you your first sewing basics. In addition, you'll find the tips I wish I'd found when I started out, as well as the points that can get in the way when you're just starting out.
As for the rest, I suggest you treat yourself! There are 10 projects to choose from in this book. Whatever the level of difficulty, start with the project that appeals to you most!

Then, in this book (Apprendre la couture en 10 leçons), you'll find 10 projects to sew. The patterns are full-size and can be downloaded as PDF files (A4 sheets for assembly or A0 format).
Among these 10 projects, you will find 5 clothing patterns that I wanted to make accessible whatever your sewing level:
