Girma is a slightly trapezoidal wrap dress for ultimate comfort!

The pattern is also available in two versions: a pleated version (version 2), and a classic version (version 1).

Finally, the dress fastens with snap buttons and two belts.

The pattern is available in pdf OR in paper format.Sewing margins are included (1 cm).

Firstly, if you opt for the pdfformat, after your purchase you will be able to download :

1 pdf file composed of 40 A4 pages (or US letter format) to be assembled or 1 pdf file composed of 3 A0 pages,
printing tips (in English and in French),
and an ultra-detailed instruction guide 👌

Finally, if you choose the paper format you will receive a printed folder with :

An instruction booklet (ultra detailed too👌),
as well as the full-size pattern board (no overlapping parts).

Materials needed for the Girma dress pattern

To make this dress, you'll need:

fabric (140 cm width)

Version 1: 2.30 meters
Version 2 (pleated): 3.20 meters
Recommended fabrics: chambray, cotton poplin, viscose jacquard, cotton gauze, flannel.

2 "anorak" type snaps from Prym (diameter 12 mm)
3 sewing snaps (diameter 13 mm)
3 Wonder dots ( Snaply brand) of 2 cm in diameter (or 3 very thick iron-on stabilizer dots that you cut yourself)

These pads will prevent your fabric from wearing out quickly at the snap locations.

1m (40”) of fusible interfacing
and finally 60 cm of iron-on hem (4cm wide).
