Turn Larissa's blouse into a dress: the tutorial!
You loved the Larissa blouse, so here's an easy way to turn it into a dress for the festive season.
This pattern is accessible to beginners, and so are the modifications I'm about to show you 😉
For this dress, I sewed version 1 of the pattern and did not sew the sleeve cuffs. I used a sequined fabric I found at Sonitis (in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris).
For this hack, only pieces A and D (front and back) will need to be modified. To lengthen this blouse into a dress, I cut these two pieces at the hip line.
I then added 17 cm (6 5/8) between the hip line and the bottom of the pattern (I'm 1m62 tall, so that gives you an idea of how much to add).

Finally, I retraced the lines to close the pattern :

Once the pattern is complete, don't forget to check that the edges that will be sewn together are the same length. In principle, yes with these modifications! But when you're modifying a pattern, it's easy to make a mistake!
So what do you think of this hack? Do you love this little party dress? Let me know in the comments! Larissa's pattern is available in sizes 34 to 52, and in paper or PDF.
Happy sewing and see you soon!
