The instructions are in English and French.
Meryl is a jumpsuit that is marked at the waist and can be made into a top and trousers. It has flounces that run from the neckline to the sleeves.
A PATTERN IN PDF or PAPER FORMAT
The pattern is available in pdf OR in paper format. The seam allowances are included (1 cm (⅜”)) .
If you opt for the PDF, after your purchase you'll be able to download :
- a 40-page pdf file ( A4 or US letter) to be assembled,
- 3-page pdf file (A0 format / print at copyshop),
- printing & assembly tips (in English and in French),
- an instruction guide for sewing the jumpsuit (you will find many illustrations to explain the step-by-step process, and tips for better sewing).
If you go for the paper format you'll receive a printed pouch with:
- A detailed instruction booklet (you will find many illustrations to explain the step by step, or even tips for better sewing),
- The full-size pattern board (no overlapping pieces).
SUPPLIES
To make this jumpsuit, you'll need:
- Fabric (55'' wide):
- Sizes 34-38: 2.8 m
- Sizes 40-46: 3 m ( 3 ⅜ y)
- Sizes 48-52: 3.5 m
👉 Chambray, linen, cotton poplin
👉 If you're only sewing the trousers, you can also opt for: gabardine, needlecord, flannel, or chino.
- 25 cm of lining (for the pockets)
- 5 to 6 buttons, 1.5 to 2 cm in diameter
- 1 button for the pants (max. 1.5 cm diameter)
- 80 cm of fusible interfacing (for a 90 cm width)
- 1 zipper for pants, 15 cm (sizes 34-40) or 18 cm (sizes 42-52)
- 1 piece of 2.5 cm wide elastic. For the length, measure your waist circumference, divide it by 2, and subtract 2 cm. For example: for a 70 cm waist, you'll need 33 cm of elastic (70/2 - 2 = 33).
SIZES
The Meryl pattern runs from size 34 to size 52.
