Materials required for the Helsinki blouse
To make this blouse, you'll need:
- Fabric (55'' wide):
- Version 1 (sleeveless): 1.50 metres (sizes 34-38), or 1.60 metres (sizes 40-46), or 1.70 metres (sizes 48-52)
- Version 2 (with sleeves): 1.60 metres (sizes 34-38), or 1.80 metres (sizes 40-46), or 1.90 metres (sizes 48-52)
- Recommended fabrics: chambray, cotton poplin, cotton oxford, viscose poplin, viscose twill, or silk.
- The fabrics in the photos: Oxford cotton (found at Papa pique and Maman coud), Eglantine and Zoé viscose.
- 90 cm (36”) fusible interfacing.
- 5 buttons, 1 cm in diameter.
- [Sleeveless version] 140 cm (55") of 20 mm (¾’’) wide bias (40mm/1⅝’’ fully unfolded).
